My Stay at Cavo Tagoo in Mykonos, Greece

After staying in Athens for 2 night, we flew to the island of Mykonos by air via Aegean Airlines.  Our plan was to stay there for 2 nights because our hotel, Cavo Tagoo, was fully booked, and we really wanted to stay there.  I"ve been planning for this trip for a few years and Cavo Tagoo was always on top of my list, and my cousin also recommended this hotel.  We were extremely happy to have made this choice because it had the perfect location, the perfect staff and service, great pool, gorgeous room, great breakfast, and I would guess from other hotels that this might be the number one hotel in Mykonos.  Our trip was a lucky one, we first chose a standard room with a small private room, and got an upgrade upon arrival, with a fast check-in, to a 2 bedroom with a bigger pool, 3 level with a beautiful living room bedroom that was set on the top level.  The room was beautiful even though it was tiring to get to the top level of the hotel, but the views were magnificent.  There was the famous Kiku Japanese restaurant at the time of our visit, which is currently called Tagoo Restaurant, which I will be reviewing next.  The hotel is located on a main road by the sea, and is about a 10 minutes walk to the town, and less than five minutes by car.  An important point of the island is that according to our hotel concierge, there is only a few taxis in hand in the island, around 35 taxis, more or less, and it is recommended that you rent a car, or a buggy, which are plentiful, if you would prefer not waiting for more than 15 minutes to get a hold of a taxi.
