Chatuchak Weekend Market - Bangkok, Thailand

Chatuchak Market is a place every visitor to Bangkok has to go to.  The city train takes you to Chatuchak, it will be the last station stop and the distance is probably around 15min, more by taxi. You will be staying for a minimum of 4- hours and still might need another day because its the hugest market you will ever see.  You will get lost, because there's so many alleyways and sections that might look similar, so you have to check the market map.  The market has everything! Clothes, house appliances, beauty products, souveniers, food, cafes, restaurants, pets, electronics, home decor, leather goods, etc. Some of the shops will have several branches in the market.  Most of it isn't open air so you will be hot and sweaty, wear comfy clothes, and the rest between sections is open air.
Lemon juice punch style is so refreshingly good
Gelatine rice candy (forgot the flavor) We love it!

  2. you should! But I don't think the one we have here or anywhere tastes the same as the one in Thailand. The one we had tastes a bit like sticky rice I'm sure it has rice in it and not only coconut

  5. You can buy lots of things you can buy when you travel or take a vacation. Such as trinkets and other souvenirs.
