Travel Advice: Corinthia Hotel - London, UK

The new Corinthia Hotel looks extremely promising. It is perfectly positioned near the city's most prestigious buildings and famous monuments, including Big Ben, in addition to being steps away from River Thames and London Eye. The contemporary 5-star hotel officially opened its doors on April 16th of this year.

High ceiling lobbies, stylish designed restaurant and bars, and the 300 bedroom and suites created by world's leading designers are something to look forward to.  It is huge and is said to have the most spacious bedrooms in the city.  A definate plus point to the hotel is the award winning international spa Espa Life, which is said to be the largest spa in London.

La Petite Maison- Dubai, UAE

You may know La Petite Maison from Paris or London. I've never been to it, so the branch I visited in DIFC, surprised me in a good way. I loved the classic European atmosphere and the great food. I can't remember when was the last time I had a steak as good as the one I had in this restaurant ! My friend and I ordered a lot and everything was for sharing, that is how they do it there. Reservations is required beforehand as the place is always fully booked.
Burrata Cheese- Italian cheese made from mozzarella and cream.
Gnocchi with cherry tomato, garlic, and parmesan
                                                        Entricote- grilled rib eye steak
Warm chocolate mousse - fondont like dessert

Location:  Gate Village 8 DIFC

My Stay at W Hotel - London, UK

I think I'm addicted to W hotels! A W Hotel in London sounded so tempting that I had to visit it after hearing about it. Some of you may have read my previous post about it opening February 14th. ITs very much worth a visit, but let me tell you, this isn't a family friendly hotel, more like for the younger hip crowd and the older crowds that appreciate the trendy design the hotel portrays.  The theme of the hotel is the disco era! You find shiny disco balls everywhere in the hotel, plus everything shines, so many bling bling motifs. You should know its located in Leicester Square, a very lively area of theaters, plays and cinemas, restaurants and cafes, China Town, Soho, Regent Street, Piccadilly Circus, and Oxford Street. Everything worth visiting is just steps away, but It might get a little unsafe after dark. I got the Spectacular Room. I have to warn though, the sink area is part of the bedroom. The shower and toilet area are found behind mirrored doors, again part of the bedroom area.  This hotel's room service is great, food and staff included. The hotel restaurant, Spice Market, which I tried for breakfast, is really good. I especially loved the seating design of the restaurant, very exotic.
