Travel Advice: My Stay at Armani Hotel - Dubai, UAE

Dark brown wood everywhere. Minimalist and perfect. What's not to like about Armani Hotel? Especially when its located in the highest building in the world, Burj Khalifa.  The special treatment made me feel like a queen. An extremely helpful and friendly staff. Checking in was made inside the room. Their corridors felt so modern something like I was in the future.  The bedroom by itself was very minimalist and comfortable. The idea of having all room cabinets, mini bar, bathroom, etc. hidden behind a wooden wall is so original. I was wondering where everything was until they explained that the walls were pushed to reveal what I wanted. A remote control controlled other things, like opening the main rom door and lighting. The mini bar was complimentary, and I was so happy with the omplimentary chocolates and berries that awaited me! The in-room dining experience, Italian cuisine, was one to boost about, delicious food and excellent presentation. Not to mention, I loved the cream, shampoo, and soaps in the bathroom! Overall I was extremely happy with everything Armani Hotel provided.  Next time I will have to try their restaurants which I sadly missed.
There's a walk-in shower also

Travel Advice: Mezza House - Dubai, UAE

I love Lebenese food, and I don't know why I haven't passed by Mezza House before. Its located in front of The Palace Downtown. I'm glad my Emarati friend took me there, otherwise I would have never known that I have been missing good Lebenese food. All the dishes we ordered were good!
Sausages in pomegrante sauce
Kebab in yogurt

Travel Advice: My Stay at The Westin - Dubai, UAE

The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina was a hotel I chose just for the reason of having a balcony overlooking the sea. The lobby area is very airy and spacious, its design very much different than all other hotels nearby, like One & Only Royal Mirage (my favorite), Mina AlSalam, and Al Qasr. A little bit on the colonial and classic side, I still prefer the Arabian design in Dubai hotels.  I loved the hotel's breakfast restaurant, a lot of choices and a huge buffet area, with all your favorites and you will be introduced to newer favorites.

Travel Advice: Siam Kempinski Hotel- Bangkok, Thailand

Siam Kempinski Hotel has recently opened its doors to the public in September 2010. Its the place to stay if you prefer an accommodation that is located exactly in the shopping district, to be specific its right beside Siam Paragon Mall.  This huge luxury hotel has beautiful landscaped gardens and multiple swimming pools in the garden area. The food experience there was really good, that includes the breakfast.  The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful.

Travel Advice: Where to Eat In Koh Samui, Thailand

Surprisingly, all the restaurants we ate in had the best food we ever had! Even the traditional ones. Clean and really delicious food. Sala Samui (main restaurant) and W Samui's Namu (pictures of dishes below) restaurants included in our list of visited eateries.
The top restaurant we dined in. Perfect beach front seating. Best creative unique dishes in the island. Located in Boput. Reservations required.
I don't remember the name of this really good salad, but it had fried goat cheese and a lavender dressing!
Sea Wrap
This beach restaurant is located in Peace Resort.  One of the reasons I chose this place was the low tables and bean bags set on the sand. The food was really good, even the presentation. Every Sunday, which was the night we went, there was live music to entertain us.

This restaurant is pretty popular and is set in the popular Chewang area, steps away from the lively part of Koh Samui. The food was fantastic, which was a surprise because who would think of having Italian food in Thailand! The spaghetti featured below is a must, it has a meat sauce and rosemary, very fragrant and good.

9 Gems
This luxurious modern design restaurant is located on top of a high hill with magnificent views of the island. The food was good even though small portions, we had lots of complimentary bites between our dishes. Creative presentation. We thought that the seating and design of the place was gorgeous, even the pool which changed colors! This restaurant actually has a few rooms, like a tiny boutique hotel. The rooms are gorgeous. Only con to the place is that you need a 4x4 to get to it.
